This is Part 2 of the highlights of the 2011 Gathering of Defenders of Sovereignty.
While we await a copy of the Keynote Message and Reflection; Opening Remarks; and highlights of the messages from the sectoral representatives and friends, we wish to share Part 2 of the Highlights of the 2011 Gathering of Defenders of Sovereignty.

We thank the Teatrong Bayan for sharing their songs of the struggle (we missed your version of “Base Militar, Armas Nukleyar” ) and the WEDPRO Youth Theater Team Salamin at Maskara for the moving cultural number. Our program has been ably anchored and facilitated by Jean Enriquez (Executive Director, Coalition Against Traficking of Women in Asia Pacific (CATW AP) and Chester Amparo (Secretary General, Kilusan para sa Pambansang Demokrasya (KPD). Our Gathering would not be complete without the merienda – we thank Tita Ana and friends for persevering to prepare and serve delicious merienda despite the limited budget that we had. And special thanks goes to KaisaKa, KPD, Makabayan, Partido Manggagawa and YND for the hard work on venue set up and preparations. Maraming, maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!
