Dear friends,

     This is to inform everyone that there is a website that was set up by nostalgic former US military personnel assigned to the Philippines and managed by a retired Marine Sgt. James Holub. You can visit it at a www.subicbaypi.com/index.htm,  www.USmilitaryPI.com and www.ClarkAB.com

      The site has very excellent photos of the former US bases and facilities in the Philippines gathered from retired US military  personnel assigned in these bases, including base photos since the 1940s to the early 90s. But,  please be forwarned that  the site also contains photos that may be considered offensive (GI's girlfriends and bargirls) which were taken by American GIs during their assignment to the Philippines. These just underscore the social impact of these  bases and the nature of the base-economies that were created. 

      The Philippine peace and sovereignty website, Yonip.com will include a link to these aforesaid sites.
