In the Name of Old Glory and the Good O’l USA

THE AMERICAN AXIS OF EVIL
(The hidden truth of 9/11)
Now that we seem to have linked all the participants in this American Axis of Evil together we can begin looking at the fine print. One might rightly argue that some of the evidence presented comes to much from one source, so we will bring more evidence into this hideous conspiracy.
Recall a guy by the name of Daniel Pearl? He was the journalist who was assassinated in an investigation into links between Pakistan and the Taliban.
Colin Powell’s statement of March 3, exonerating the ISI from any responsibility for Pearl’s disappearance and murder, is shocking. Few in Pakistan believe such assurances. Musharraf was not involved, but he must know what took place. He has referred to Pearl as an “over- intrusive journalist” caught up in “intelligence games”. Has he told Washington what he knows? And if so, why did Powell absolve the ISI?
It will forever remain one of America’s best kept secrets, as to what Daniel Pearl was about to expose. The bottom line is he knew enough to get to get killed for, and a means to silence the truth from being exposed. Today we know much of what Daniel Pearl was going to expose, but the fine print and who it signatures back to has died with him. What we do know is that both the United States and the United Nations, were told that a major attack on the United States was going to happen. The warnings were delivered by an aide of Wakil Ahmed Muttawakil, the Taliban Foreign Minister at the time, who was known to be deeply unhappy with the foreign militants in Afghanistan, including Arabs.
We also know that senior members of the Saudi royal family paid at least £200m to Osama Bin Laden’s terror group and the Taliban in exchange for an agreement that his forces would not attack targets in Saudi Arabia, according to court documents filed by the victims of 9/11. Having read the preceding material in this study, what before sounded like Saudi Arabia turning on Americans, now makes a lot more sense. Investors in terrorism, now find it coming home full circle, and George and his friends certainly have reason to wonder when this whole game will be exposed.
Now hold onto your hats, the next tidbit comes from the United States and if you were not already scratching your head in disgust then this next story might just do that.
At the time, the massive 9/11 investigation was just beginning. The government had begun detaining hundreds of people who were held for days, weeks, or months while U.S. agents performed extensive background checks and interviews. In addition, the government announced its intention to question thousands of men from Muslim countries who might simply have known something of interest to the investigation. “The Department of Justice is waging a deliberate campaign of arrest and detention to protect American lives,” Attorney General John Ashcroft said on November 27.
Bill Carter, the FBI spokesman, is adamant. “We were given full access to the individuals on that plane,” he says, “and we were satisfied that we did not believe any of those individuals had anything to do with the 9/11 plots.” The plane to which Carter refers was an aircraft chartered by the Saudi government in the days after the terrorist attacks. The individuals were two dozen members of Osama bin Laden’s extended family who had been living in the United States. Saying they were afraid that family members might suffer retribution in the U.S., the Saudis asked for American assistance in getting them out of the country. With the help of the FBI, the Saudis and the bin Laden family chartered an aircraft to pick up family members in Los Angeles, Orlando, and Washington, D.C. The bin Laden plane then flew the relatives to Boston, where — one week after the attacks — the group left Logan Airport bound for Jeddah.
Considering the valuable contribution made to the business interests that needed the American public to give a unanimous decision to a war in Iraq, maybe this was the least the Bush could do for a business partner. Wow, can you believe it? While everyone that even looks like they have Arab blood in them gets hauled in by the FBI, Bib Laden’s family gets a government escort to safety!
Now consider that Bush said he had a good idea about what led up to Sept 11th, yet did not even bother to inform the house. Hindsight is 20/20 they say, and in this case it shows just how little the public was told. NEWSWEEK: FBI Informant Lived With the Hijackers This is another story one must read in full.
At first, FBI director Bob Mueller insisted there was nothing the bureau could have done to penetrate the 9-11 plot. That account has been modified over time–and now may change again. NEWSWEEK has learned that one of the bureau’s informants had a close relationship with two of the hijackers: he was their roommate.
Bush must really fear the effects of truth leaking out, as again by coincidence the man appointed to investigate the 9/11 attack, Slade Gordon, does not even have the security clearance to review classified documents. Given that it will take about 10 months to get security clearance, this means he will either have to make a last ditch rush report to meet the deadline, or he will have to ask for an extension. Now by another coincidence, this means the results will not become public before Bush’s next presidential campaign. Now isn’t that a cozy situation?
In a bitter irony, Rep. Porter Goss and Senator Bob Graham the men who hosted the mysterious September 11 breakfast meeting with the alleged “hijacker’s high commander” were put in charge of the investigation and public hearings on so-called “intelligence failures” These ties to Pakistan’s ISI should be starting point of an investigation. While hundreds of people have been arrested on trumped up charges, key members of the Bush administration have personal links with the alleged “money-man”. Surely this should be the object of an investigation, rather than a cover-up of the ISI’s alleged role in the 9/11 attacks. Meanwhile the Bush administration is blaming Iraq of complicity.
From Fortune Magazine comes this interesting version of the appointment of Thomas Kean as the new investigator into 9/11.
In December, President Bush named Thomas Kean, the former Republican governor of New Jersey, chairman of an independent commission examining the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. But FORTUNE has learned that Kean appears to have a bizarre link to the very terror network he’s investigating–al Qaeda. Here’s how the dots connect: Kean is a director of petroleum giant Amerada Hess, which in 1998 formed a joint venture–known as Delta Hess–with Delta Oil, a Saudi Arabian company, to develop oil fields in Azerbaijan. One of Delta’s backers is Khalid bin Mahfouz, a shadowy Saudi patriarch married to one of Osama bin Laden’s sisters. Mahfouz, who is suspected of funding charities linked to al Qaeda, is even named as a defendant in a lawsuit filed by families of Sept. 11 victims. True, Hess is hardly the only company to cross paths with Mahfouz: He has shown up in dealings with, among others, ultra-secretive investment firm Carlyle Group and BCCI, the lender toppled by fraud in 1992.
Even more interesting is this quote from the Vancouver Sun.
And at last count, there were a dozen U.S. Congressional Committees investigating the tragedies and how such an intelligence and security breakdown was allowed to occur. But President George W. Bush and his right-hand man, Vice President Dick Cheney, have taken the unprecedented step of trying to restrict those investigations, pouring fuel on the simmering conspiracy theories being propagated in alternative publications, on wingnut Web sites and among some serious media outlets. In Germany, a former minister of technology, Andreas von Buelow, made headlines when in an interview he dismissed the U.S. government’s explanation that Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaida network is responsible for the attacks. His own explanation implicated the White House. “I wonder why many questions are not asked,”
