In commemoration of the 38th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law and the 25th anniversary of the Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (BAYAN), we are inviting you to a special screening of the movie “SIGWA”, megged by award-winning director Joel Lamangan and co-written by award-winning screenwriter Bonifacio Ilagan. 

The film is a historical piece that follows the lives of four friends during the period of the First Quarter Storm, the declaration of Martial Law and the years that followed. 

The film is produced by Beginnings at Twenty Plus and was screened by sell-out crowds during the 6th Cinemalaya film festival. Because of its superb quality, the film was rated “A” by the Cinema Evaluation Board.

The special screenings will be on September 21, 2010 130pm and 6pm at the Robinson’s Cinema 5 in Ermita, Manila. 

We would like to seek your generous support for this undertaking through ___ Sponsor Ticket/s worth P5,000 each or ___ Donor Tickets worth P1,000 each . The amount will go to defraying the costs of the venue and ticket printing as well as to the various undertakings of BAYAN.
